Our school opened her door to children of this generation on the 5th of September, 1994 with the great hope of giving a sound education laced with good moral to develop the enabling skills to cope effectively with the challenges of life.
Focusing on our mission and vision statements blended with biblical principles and modern scholarship, we have been able to achieve great success.
New Era Model Schools, Effurun was founded on 5th September, 1994. It commenced operation at its temporary site at Bright Hope Street, Off Airport Road, Effurun. It moved to its permanent site at 97, Jakpa Road, Effurun in 1997. On 12th July, 1997, the school was officially dedicated and commissioned by the then commissioner of Education, Professor Adednego Ikoku. The Secondary Section of the school came into inception in 9th September, 2003. It was approved by WAEC and NECO in 2009, the year in which both examination was first written in the school.
